About the role
Our client, a prestigious recruitment consultancy specializing in the technology and IT sectors, is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Lead Recruitment Consultant to join their team in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, NG . This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the tech talent market, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of recruiters. You will be responsible for driving business development, managing key client relationships, and ensuring the successful placement of high-caliber IT professionals.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of recruitment consultants, providing coaching, training, and performance management to foster a high-achieving environment. Drive business development initiatives to secure new client contracts and expand market share within the tech and IT recruitment space. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing strategic talent acquisition solutions. Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for complex IT roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier technology talent, including software engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and IT managers. Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including technical interviews and competency-based evaluations. Negotiate competitive salary packages and employment terms between clients and candidates. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance the company's brand presence in the tech recruitment market. Monitor industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor activities to inform recruitment strategies. Achieve and exceed personal and team recruitment targets and KPIs. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and recruitment best practices. Act as a senior point of contact for client escalations and strategic discussions. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in recruitment consultancy, with a proven track record in the technology or IT sector. Demonstrable experience in leading and managing a recruitment team. Strong understanding of various technology stacks, software development methodologies, and IT roles. Excellent sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills. Proven ability to source hard-to-find talent through various channels. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
