Lead Remote Project Manager - Digital Transformation

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Remote Project Manager to spearhead critical digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing detailed project plans, and managing resource allocation. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, risk assessment and mitigation, and effective communication across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale digital projects, preferably within industries undergoing significant technological evolution. You must be adept at utilizing project management software and collaboration tools to facilitate seamless remote operations. Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is essential, as you will guide teams through iterative development cycles. You will be expected to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains throughout the project lifecycle. Strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a virtual setting are paramount. Responsibilities: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Lead and motivate cross-functional, remote project teams to achieve project goals. Manage project execution, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of milestones. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies. Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership. Implement and manage agile project management methodologies. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide detailed reports on project progress, risks, and budget. Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations as needed. Ensure the quality and successful delivery of project outputs. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or Prince2 certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years managing complex digital transformation projects. Proven experience working in a fully remote project management capacity. Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Experience in change management and organizational development is a plus.
