Lead Security Engineer

About

In this role, you will help strengthen the client’s security posture by refining detections and enhancing response capabilities. You will analyze diverse security data sources to spot malicious activity and coordinate with IT teams to deliver security services. You will identify missing controls and adjust tooling to enable effective compensatory remediation. This position offers an opportunity to drive continuous security improvements within the Security Operations Centre and across client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Improve and refine security detections and response activities
• Analyse multiple security data sources to identify malicious activity
• Respond to security incidents with appropriate actions
• Identify missing controls and adjust security tooling for remediation
• Collaborate with IT technical teams to deliver Information Security services
• Drive continuous improvements in security posture and processes

Requirements

• Strong analytical background
• SOC experience preferred
• Experience analyzing security data sources and detecting threats
• Collaborative with IT teams to deliver security services
• Proactive problem-solving mindset
