Lead Senior Structural Engineer & Project Manager for Hydraulic Structures
McMillen, Inc. is on the lookout for a talented Lead Senior Structural Engineer & Project Manager for Hydraulic Structures to deliver outstanding service to our clients in the water resources industry. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and a seasoned Seller-Doer with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of comprehensive project documents spanning from design development reports to complete construction documents.
- Evaluate and apply advanced structural design techniques, procedures, and criteria independently.
- Manage multi-discipline teams, assign responsibilities, and guide engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Conduct field investigations of existing structures, review engineering reports, and analyze existing data to identify critical design requirements.
- Identify project opportunities and contribute to proposals for engineering services.
- Prepare project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
- Oversee planning, design, and construction support services for projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university; a Master's degree in structural engineering is preferred.
- 15+ years of structural design experience in water resource-related projects.
- At least 10 years of experience in a Project Manager role is preferred.
- PE License is required; SE License and NCEES registration are preferred.
- Familiarity with Federal Agencies and/or Public Utilities is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Industry and Agency Design Codes and Standards is essential.
- Experience in Design-Build or Construction projects is preferred.
- Proficient in structural analysis software, especially for seismic analysis procedures.
- Experience with structural repairs, refurbishments, seismic upgrades, and modifications to concrete structures, hydro power facilities, or hydraulic steel structures is valuable.
- Demonstrated expertise in hydro and hydro power project principles and practices.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 15% of the time).
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members.

Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $138,000 - $206,000 (dependent on experience)
