Job Description

For our client in Aarberg, we are looking for you as a Lead Software Architect (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• You design, develop, and maintain well-thought-out and sophisticated software architectures for in-house developments in the client environment.
• You will be responsible for both the preparation and the leadership of architectural decisions in the interest of our clients.
• You integrate standard software into complex enterprise landscapes.
• With a focus on quality, you ensure that architectural principles and standards are reliably adhered to.
• As a communicative leader, you lead and mentor a team of developers and technical experts.
• You act as the overarching audit authority for technical designs and implementations.
• In collaboration with project managers, you ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Proactively, you support the creation of project plans and resource planning.
• You ensure close communication between internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• You present architectural and design proposals clearly and understandably to executives and technical teams.
• Through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices, you ensure high quality.
• You conduct risk analyses and develop migration strategies for existing systems.
• To promote the technical excellence of the products, you identify and implement future-oriented new technologies and trends.
• You also take care of conducting feasibility studies and prototyping new technologies.

Your Qualifications

• You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.
• You have experience in leading technical teams and projects.
• You possess in-depth knowledge in the development and implementation of complex software architectures.
• You have sound knowledge of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• You have experience with C# .Net, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SAP ERP.
• You understand cloud technologies and architectures.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of analytical thinking.
• You are fluent in German and English.
