Lead Software Architect Refractive (f/m/x)

Your Role

• Define and implement the software architecture strategy in line with business goals
• Ensure seamless integration and reuse of software components across multiple products
• Drive innovation and modern technologies throughout the software lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership for software architects and foster collaboration and best practices
• Establish standards and ensure quality, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements
• Collaborate across locations and coordinate closely with product management, R&D, and other stakeholders
• Moderate architectural decisions and actively manage stakeholders across different teams and departments

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Several years of experience (8+ years) in software architecture, ideally in a regulated environment
• Experience with complex, interconnected software systems and platform approaches
• Strong ability to act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven strength in communication, moderation, and conflict resolution in cross-functional contexts
• Leadership experience and ability to influence laterally in global teams
• Very good German and English skills as well as excellent communication skills
