Primary Qualifications/ Background
This role will be 70% technical and 30% lead/advisory responsibilities*
Minimum 7+ years of experience supporting and developing applications, with a strong emphasis on web-based solutions.
Proven experience leading or contributing to modernization efforts, including legacy system evolution or replacement.
Demonstrated experience working with .NET technologies in enterprise environments.
Experience with on‑premises web and application server platforms and hybrid modernization approaches.
Experience with front end technologies, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular/React, Jquery, Webforms
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application monitoring and support models.
Experience collaborating with senior developer resources and guiding technical decision-making without direct authority.
Strong understanding of the application lifecycle, including development, enhancement, deployment, incident management, and ongoing support
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technical roadmap for modernization of web applications, balancing innovation with stability.
- Partner with senior developers to lead architect decisions, define solution patterns, and migration strategies.
- Act as a technical liaison between application stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure or platform partners.
- Act as a hands-on engineer, contributing code, reviewing implementations, and supporting development efforts across the application portfolio
- Provide application support, diagnose issues, and deliver timely, customer‑focused solutions for critical business operations
- Provide leadership and guidance during the planning and execution of application rewrites, refactors, cloud enablement, and platform upgrades.
- Lead technical analysis and decision-making for enhancements, upgrades, and integrations across the application portfolio.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand customer needs and translate them into well-defined technical requirements.
- Assist with incident escalation and root cause analysis for critical application issues, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Advocate for modern engineering practices, including maintainability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, compliance, and internal technology standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, operational support, and customer experience
