As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the design, implementation, and evolution of our observability and logging platforms. You will leverage your deep expertise in logging and observability engineering while working with a passionate team that values innovation, agility, and ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and optimize observability environments using best software engineering practices.
  • Build automation scripts and tools to enhance observability instrumentation and deployment.

  • Conduct observability code reviews and implement automated validation checks.
  • Create AI-native tools for autonomous issue detection and resolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in software/infrastructure engineering, emphasizing observability and logging.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, .Net, Java, Go, or Node.js.
  • Experience with system architecture, AI Ops, and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible, and cloud-native development platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proven leadership and mentoring experience, along with agile delivery knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and platforms like Splunk Enterprise and Dynatrace.
  • Experience with integrating observability with ITSM/ITOps tools.
  • Budget management and cost optimization skills.
  • Certifications related to Splunk or observability standards.
