Lead Software Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Lead Software Engineer to drive a greenfield implementation of Tungsten Automation (formerly Kofax TotalAgility) for a large enterprise claims automation program.

This is a builder role—approximately 80% hands‑on development—owning end‑to‑end workflow and intelligent document processing solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build end‑to‑end workflows using Tungsten / Kofax TotalAgility
• Design and implement document capture, OCR, classification, extraction, and validation
• Work with structured, unstructured, and handwritten documents (claims, IDs, statements, etc.)
• Configure workflows that route documents through approval and exception handling
• Develop custom logic using C#, .NET, and JavaScript
• Integrate with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and SQL
• Support a greenfield platform build and collaborate with offshore developers

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• Hands‑on experience building or configuring Tungsten / Kofax TotalAgility solutions
• (not production support only)
• Strong experience combining workflow orchestration + document capture/OCR
• Solid .NET (C#) and JavaScript development experience
• Experience with classification, extraction, and validation rules
• Comfortable owning design through delivery

Nice to Have

• Claims, insurance, or financial services experience
• Prior greenfield platform implementations or migrations
• Exposure to multiple OCR engines (OmniPage, Azure OCR, or similar)
