Lead Solutions Engineer

About the Role

As a Lead Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our enterprise customers by facilitating data integrations that enhance the delivery of Indeed's recruitment solutions. This client-facing position requires providing expert technical guidance directly to Sales and Client Success teams, ensuring robust communication and collaboration across departments.

You will act as the main technical advisor for Applicant Tracking System (ATS) integrations, overseeing the scoping, validation, and implementation processes for our enterprise clients. Close collaboration with Sales, Client Success, Product, and Engineering teams will be crucial in driving technical due diligence, guiding clients through necessary workflow changes, and accelerating the success of complex deals involving significant integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical consultant for enterprise clients, leading discovery, scoping, and solution validation for ATS and system integrations.
• Convert client business requirements into effective technical solutions, addressing various workflow and integration needs.
• Offer strategic technical support during sales processes, contributing to proposals, timelines, and deal structures.
• Work alongside implementation teams to guarantee seamless onboarding and integration transitions.
• Identify and address technical risks, dependencies, or gaps that may hinder deployment success.
• Create and maintain valuable technical resources, including integration diagrams, best practices documentation, and frequently asked questions.
• Enhance client experiences by providing constructive feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience required; a Bachelor's degree, or 3 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD without prior experience is also acceptable; equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirements.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, data exchange methods, and modern web technologies (e.g., REST, JSON)
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery and simplify complex technical ideas into actionable business outcomes.
• Experience collaborating effectively with IT, Security, and Compliance departments in enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills suitable for interacting with both technical and business audiences, including executive-level clients.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong history of working with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

Salary Transparency

The salary range for this position encompasses various tiers reflecting market dynamics:

• Tier 1: $84,000 - $126,000
• Tier 2: $94,000 - $142,000
• Tier 3: $103,000 - $155,000
• Tier 5: $117,000 - $175,000
