About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations and translate that knowledge into precise requirements for systems and processes.
- Serve as the main contact between project stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Lead requirements development activities, including creating work plans, managing timelines, and coordinating resources.
- Evaluate potential enhancements to applications for increased efficiency and reliability.
- Guide and mentor other team members in your area of expertise.
Job-Specific Duties
- Act as the primary liaison with MAXIMUS project staff or clients to define and document business and technical requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes and operational workflows while translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support requirements development by coordinating tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Define data file extracts, automated processes, and reports to aid application development and maintenance.
- Assist in customer application development and systems integration, particularly with SaaS platforms.
- Analyze system interfaces and data flows across various applications.
- Produce detailed reports that summarize and present data for project support and decision-making.
- Engage in system testing and design reviews to validate requirements and ensure quality compliance.
- Monitor application performance and project activities, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
- Assist in system maintenance activities, addressing change requests, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and backlog refinement in tools like Jira.
- Proficient in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0) for workflow documentation.
- Experience in customer application development involving SaaS products and APIs.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics, and customer-experience technologies.
- Knowledge of financial ERP systems and business processes.
- Strong SQL and RDBMS skills, along with understanding data governance and quality frameworks.
- Experience working with process automation tools and cloud services like AWS.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills to convey technical information clearly.
Salary
- Minimum Salary: $85,400.00
- Maximum Salary: $125,000.00
