Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic team in Minna, Niger, NG. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to meet the organization's hiring needs.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct sourcing, to identify qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Extend job offers and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track key recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring progress and pipeline health.
  • Stay informed about market trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the recruitment team.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's appeal to potential candidates.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Strong understanding of various recruitment methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and regulations related to hiring.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring a recruitment team is highly desirable.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a passion for talent acquisition.
