Our client, a rapidly expanding recruitment consultancy based in Jos, Plateau, NG, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Technical Recruiter to build and lead their high-performing technology recruitment division. This is a critical, on-site role where you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for highly specialized technology roles across various industries.

You will leverage your deep understanding of the tech landscape and your extensive network to identify, attract, and engage top-tier talent for our clients. Your primary duties will include developing effective sourcing strategies, conducting in-depth candidate screenings, managing interview processes, and extending offers. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical positions, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates.
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including technical screenings and behavioral interviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and market landscape.
  • Nurture a talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Mentor, train, and manage a team of technical recruiters.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring progress and KPIs.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at all stages.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop employer branding initiatives for technology roles.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent acquisition best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proven success in recruiting for niche technology roles (e.g., software development, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing).
  • Extensive knowledge of various sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the technology industry and current talent market trends.
  • Experience in a consultancy or agency environment is highly preferred.
