About the role
Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing recruitment consultancy specializing in the placement of IT and Engineering professionals, is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Recruiter to join their team. This position is based in **Warri, Delta, NG** and operates on a hybrid work model, offering a flexible arrangement that combines office-based collaboration with remote work. The Lead Technical Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for challenging IT and engineering roles, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and building strong relationships with clients and candidates. You will lead a team of recruiters, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure the achievement of recruitment targets. Key responsibilities include developing innovative sourcing strategies, utilizing various recruitment tools and platforms, conducting in-depth candidate assessments, and staying abreast of industry trends. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with demonstrated success in placing candidates in IT and engineering sectors, is required. Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role is essential. Strong understanding of various technology stacks and engineering disciplines is a must. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are vital. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is necessary.
