About the role
Our client, a rapidly expanding recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Technical Recruiter to join our fully remote team. This role is critical in identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier technology talent for our diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. The Lead Technical Recruiter will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and building strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You will play a key role in shaping our technical recruitment capabilities and driving successful placements. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates for technical roles (e.g., Software Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, DevOps). Conducting in-depth candidate screenings, interviews, and technical assessments to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit. Managing the entire recruitment process from job posting and candidate outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding. Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified technical talent through various channels, including professional networks, job boards, and direct sourcing. Partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their specific talent needs and provide expert recruitment advice. Developing and delivering compelling employer branding messages to attract top candidates. Tracking recruitment metrics and providing regular reports on sourcing effectiveness and candidate pipeline status. Mentoring and guiding junior recruiters on best practices in technical recruiting. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance sourcing strategies. Ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with at least 6 years of progressive experience in technical recruitment, preferably within a recruitment agency or fast-paced tech environment. Proven success in sourcing and hiring for specialized technical roles is essential. Excellent understanding of technical concepts and terminology across various domains is required. Strong interviewing and assessment skills, combined with exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, are crucial for building relationships and influencing stakeholders. Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) is expected. A proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative setting are key.
