Lead Telecoms Solutions Architect

Our client, a rapidly expanding telecommunications firm, is looking for a highly experienced Lead Telecoms Solutions Architect to spearhead the development of innovative network solutions in **Kaduna, Kaduna, NG**. This senior role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of current and future telecommunications technologies, including 5G, IoT, cloud networking, and software-defined networking (SDN). You will be responsible for defining the technical vision and strategy for the company's network architecture, translating business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions. This position involves close collaboration with engineering teams, product management, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the overall telecommunications network architecture roadmap. Design end-to-end solutions for new services and network upgrades, ensuring high availability and performance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and vendors. Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to project teams. Create detailed architectural documents, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans. Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects for emerging technologies. Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with network designs. Mentor and guide junior architects and engineers. Ensure architectural designs comply with security policies and industry best practices. Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications network design and architecture. Extensive knowledge of wireless (4G/5G) and fixed-line network technologies. Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes). Experience with SDN/NFV and automation tools. Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, complex network solutions. Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
