Lead UI/UX Designer - Interactive Media

Our client is looking for a highly creative and user-centric Lead UI/UX Designer to shape the digital experiences for our innovative products. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to contribute your talents from anywhere. You will be responsible for translating complex user needs into intuitive and engaging interfaces, driving the design direction for our web and mobile applications. This role requires a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and exceptional user journey.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design process from concept to launch, ensuring a user-centered approach at every stage. Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user behaviors and needs. Create detailed user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to define the structure and flow of digital products. Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback. Design high-fidelity visual mockups and style guides that align with brand identity and enhance user experience. Collaborate closely with product management to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces. Work with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide ongoing design support. Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle. Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative design environment. Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, and champion their adoption. Perform design audits and provide recommendations for improving existing user interfaces. Contribute to establishing and maintaining design standards and best practices. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of designing successful digital products. Extensive experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Demonstrated expertise in user research methodologies and usability testing. Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and visual design. Excellent ability to translate user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions. Experience in leading design projects and mentoring design teams. Exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX design work across different platforms. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly. Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with front-end development principles is a plus.
