Lead UX Designer

About the Role

The Lead UX Designer will guide the end-to-end design of complex enterprise applications within an Agile team, focusing on operational efficiency for transportation systems.

What You'll Do

• Create high-fidelity, accessible designs using Figma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Champion user-centered principles.
• Lead quarterly planning.
• Contribute to the design system.
• Ensure design quality through close engineering partnership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UX experience
• Expertise with design systems and Agile workflows
• Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong communication skills

Location & Travel

• Local residency near the Northeast Corridor is required.
• 25% travel for workshops and planning activities.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with the rail industry
• Familiarity with enterprise internal systems
• Usability testing
• Accessibility standards
