Lead UX/UI Designer

Our client is at the cutting edge of digital product development and is searching for a talented and visionary Lead UX/UI Designer to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role will shape the user experience and interface design for a range of innovative digital products. You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing designs. The Lead UX/UI Designer will conduct user research, create user personas, map user journeys, and develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. You will lead the design process from concept to final hand-off to development teams, ensuring a high-quality, cohesive user experience across all platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and current design trends. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with strategic goals. The ability to articulate design decisions clearly and persuasively, backed by research and data, is essential. Mentoring junior designers and contributing to the evolution of design systems and standards will also be part of your responsibilities. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional digital experiences. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, including significant experience leading design projects. A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of digital products and a deep understanding of design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) are required. Experience in defining and implementing design systems is a significant plus.
