Lead UX/UI Designer - Digital Product Development

About the Role

A forward-thinking tech company is seeking an accomplished Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead the design of its innovative digital products. This exciting, on-site role is based in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti, NG, and offers a prime opportunity to influence the user experience of cutting-edge software and applications. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, gather user feedback, and translate insights into actionable design solutions.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across product lines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Oversee the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design.
• Ensure intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that meet user needs and business objectives.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing extensive experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a lead or senior design role.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles, usability best practices, and interaction design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to articulate design decisions and work effectively within a cross‑functional team.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and user testing is highly desirable.
