Lead UX/UI Designer - Mobile Applications

Our client is looking for a highly creative and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to spearhead the design efforts for their innovative mobile applications. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful digital products. As the Lead UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for defining the user experience and visual design of our mobile applications, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. You will lead a team of designers, guide them through the design process, and collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into compelling user interfaces. Your role will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups, and conducting usability testing to validate design decisions. You will champion user-centered design principles and ensure consistency across all product touchpoints. We are seeking a designer with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI design skills, a deep understanding of UX principles, and experience designing for both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a natural leader capable of inspiring a team. Responsibilities include: Leading the UX/UI design process for mobile applications from concept to launch. Developing user personas, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing feedback to inform design decisions. Creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines. Ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience across different devices and platforms. Collaborating with product managers to define product strategy and roadmap. Working closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering a collaborative design environment. Staying updated on the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices. Advocating for the user throughout the product development lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design for mobile applications is essential. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar is required. Experience with user research methodologies and tools is a must. Previous experience leading design teams and working in an agile development environment is highly desirable.
