We are now looking for a Lean Engineer to join our team in Nefab Packaging Netherlands.

As Lean Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Deliver lean leadership training to management teams.
• Provide coaching and training on lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, etc.)
• Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and Gemba walks.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across sites.
• Support change management initiatives.
• Standardize best practices across locations.
• Monitor KPIs and report improvement results.
• Coach local teams and stakeholders.
• Perform lean assessments .
• Explore and implement digital CI tools.

As a Lean Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will drive lean transformation across multiple manufacturing sites. You will play a key role in improving operational performance, developing lean leadership, and embedding a continuous improvement culture. You will work closely with site leadership and teams to enhance efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
• Experience with change management.
• Analytical and hands-on mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch (mandatory) and English.
• Willingness to travel between sites.
