Your Challenges

  • Lead, coordinate, and program-manage bank-wide learning and development initiatives on a global scale.
  • Act as a key sparring partner for senior business leaders on L&D-related topics across multiple non-client-facing functions, guiding needs analysis, design, planning, and delivery of tailored development solutions; aligned with strategic priorities and targeted business outcomes.
  • Leverage existing internal and external resources
  • Be the key contact person for your programmes or initiatives (target group and all involved stakeholders).
  • Closely collaborate with internal subject matter experts in the design and delivery of any training activities.
  • Manage external training providers (selection, contracting, quality management, budgeting)
  • Actively engage in other learning & development initiatives within the team and the whole Julius Baer Academy to foster life-long learning of employees and competitive advantage of the Bank

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent qualification in Banking & Finance/Business Administration or in Pedagogy/Teaching/Psychology, ideally complemented by additional studies or certifications in business administration, banking, human resources, pedagogy, psychology, or adult learning.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years working experience in a corporate learning & development environment
  • Business acumen and solid understanding of Wealth Management industry with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into effective L&D solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to collaborate successfully with various internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good presentation skills to host training sessions, meetings, or workshops
  • Strong conceptual capabilities and project management skills, e.g. when designing learning solutions or evaluating training proposals
  • Reliable, structured and results-oriented working style with very good organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday preferred.
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Client-centric mindset with a genuine commitment to service excellence.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on; someone who takes initiative and follows through reliably (“can-do” attitude).
