Legal AI Engineer

Job Summary:

Join us as we build practical AI capability across Legal. As a Legal AI Engineer, you will partner with legal stakeholders, GLOSS and technology teams to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions that improve workflows, strengthen data readiness and support scalable adoption of AI in legal.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused primarily on execution. You will help move priority initiatives forward, deliver practical solutions and contribute to developing longer term AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with GLOSS, legal stakeholders, and technology teams to design and deliver AI-enabled digital solutions aligned with enterprise and legal priorities
• Improve readiness of legal data and workflows to support reliable, scalable AI solutions
• Support priority initiatives by gathering stakeholder needs from legal teams, testing solutions, and iterating based on feedback
• Drive adoption through documentation, user enablement, and change management support
• Collaborate with legal stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to assess and implement new tools and capabilities where appropriate
• Track outcomes and feedback to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience working with legal technology and legal processes in a legal, legal operations, legal knowledge management or similar environment
• Hands on experience designing, refining, and applying prompts or AI enabled workflows to support legal use cases
• Experience using AI enabled tools and deploying custom AI or automation solutions, ideally in a low code or no code environment
• Ability to translate business and user needs into practical workflows, prompts, prototypes, or configurable solutions
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across legal, business, and technology teams
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred

• Familiarity deploying solutions or custom workflows using MS Copilot, Power Automate, Agiloft/Screens, Claude Cowork, Harvey or similar AI enabled platforms
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, Agiloft, Tableau, Onit, iManage, or OneTrust
• Experience with Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) solutions
