Legal Technology Project Manager

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Technology Project Manager to support a major AI and technology transformation initiative. In this role, the successful candidate will act as a key bridge between legal teams and internal IT stakeholders, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and delivery across ongoing transformation projects. The ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of legal environments and emerging AI technologies. Proficiency in English is essential for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate legal technology and AI transformation projects across legal, compliance, and IT teams
• Work closely with the Legal Operations Manager to support ongoing strategic and operational technology initiatives
• Act as the primary interface between legal stakeholders and technical/project delivery teams
• Support the implementation and optimisation of AI-driven tools and automation solutions within the legal function
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement
• Engage with IT teams on project planning, execution, testing, and rollout activities
• Support adoption and change management initiatives related to new legal technology platforms and AI tools
• Facilitate workshops, gather business requirements, and translate operational needs into actionable project deliverables
• Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the development of scalable and efficient legal technology processes and governance frameworks

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within legal technology, digital transformation, or IT-related initiatives
• Strong understanding of legal and compliance environments, ideally within regulated industries or financial services
• Experience working closely with both legal professionals and IT/technology teams
• Knowledge of AI tools, automation platforms, and emerging legal technology solutions
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI-enabled productivity tools is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical teams
• Structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable operating in complex project environments
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
• Switzerland-based candidates strongly preferred
