For the leadership of three of the five software development teams with different tech stacks (Angular, , and Java), we are looking for a leader with a cooperative leadership style as part of an exclusive mandate.
Your Challenge
In close cooperation with your peers on the product side, you ensure efficient and smooth collaboration between the software development teams and product teams. You support and coach your three teams and individual employees in their further development. At the same time, you optimize existing processes, lead pioneering projects, and thus set the course for the successful further development of the company.
Your main tasks are divided approximately as follows:
Leadership (~ 30%)
- Personnel leadership of three software development teams UKA Solutions, Carema, and ValiQ with a total of 13 employees
- Recruitment, support, coaching, and further development of individual developers and tech leads
- Ensuring efficient and future-oriented working methods in the teams
- Support and development of the teams
Process Management (~ 30%)
- Responsibility and further development of Scrum development processes in the teams (coaching & support)
- Support, review, and further development of planning processes
Project Management (~ 20%)
- Project management of cross-functional technical projects and architecture topics
- Coordination with external service providers
Strategy, Coordination & Administration (~ 20%)
- Strategic contribution to annual planning & implementation of the IT annual plan
- Resource planning and responsibility for achieving product goals
- Support for tech leads in security audits
- Regular reporting to divisional management
Your Qualities and Talents
- Completed technical degree (FH/ETH), ideally with further training in leadership & agile methodologies
- Min. three years of disciplinary leadership experience with a span of control of min. five employees in a technical environment
- Several years of professional experience in software development as well as with agile development methods
- You enjoy developing people
- You communicate openly, honestly, and proactively address challenging topics
- You are fluent in German
