LinkedIn Recruiting Specialist

Upwork

US · flexible Contract $6 – $10/hr Today

About the role

We're a private advisory firm running an active LinkedIn recruiting programme across multiple cities and need a dedicated specialist to manage applicant processing and outreach.

This is a process-heavy role with clear systems already in place. Your job is to execute consistently at volume.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Review new LinkedIn job applicants across 6–10 active posts
  • Tag each applicant by fit tier (Top / Strong / Other) using our criteria framework
  • Send templated LinkedIn DMs to Top and Strong tier applicants
  • Add Tier 3 applicants to our email sequencing tool
  • Update tracking sheet with applicant status and next steps
  • Send polite rejections to clearly unfit applicants

Weekly Responsibilities

  • Post new job listings using our templates (1–2 new posts per week)
  • Refresh existing job posts as needed
  • Weekly summary report: applicants received, DMs sent, calls booked, conversion rate
  • 30-minute review call with the founder

Volume Expectations

  • 50–100 applicants to process daily
  • 30–50 LinkedIn DMs to send daily
  • 20–40 tracking sheet updates daily

Who We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience with LinkedIn recruiting, lead generation, or admin work
  • Proficient with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Recruiter, or Job Posting
  • Excellent written English (DMs represent the firm to senior professionals)
  • Detail-oriented and consistent — this is about execution quality, not creativity
  • Comfortable with Google Sheets, basic CRM workflows, Instantly or similar tools
  • Available for 4–6 hours of overlap with GST (Dubai) timezone
  • Long-term commitment — 12+ months minimum

Filters:

  • 90%+ Job Success Score
  • 1,000+ hours worked on Upwork
  • Verified English fluency

Bonus:

  • Experience with financial services, professional services, or B2B firms
  • Previous high-volume LinkedIn outreach experience (100+ messages/day)
  • Familiarity with Calendly, HubSpot, or booking tools

Compensation

  • $6–10/hour USD starting, depending on experience
  • Review at 30 days, with rate increase for strong performance
  • 25 hours/week, flexible scheduling within timezone overlap
  • Long-term role with potential to lead a small team within 6 months

Application Process

  • Submit a proposal with a brief message (3–4 sentences) explaining your fit
  • Include 2–3 examples of LinkedIn DMs you've written for previous roles
  • Top candidates receive a paid 24-hour test task as a $40 milestone — write 3 sample DMs based on real applicant profiles, tag 10 applicants by fit
  • Top 2 from the test → 30-minute Zoom interview
  • Hire decision within 7 days

To apply: Submit your proposal with the items above. Generic templated proposals will not be considered.
