About Us

Your Role

You will be part of a team of 35 engineers who are passionate about sensor technology, embedded systems, critical infrastructure, and fleet management. Together with your team, you will take on the following tasks:

  • You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructures for AI-powered applications and deploy the models directly onto the drone detection devices.
  • You will take responsibility for CI/CD pipelines and optimize them to enable fast and secure deployments.
  • You will optimize system reliability, performance, and security.
  • You will ensure that the systems also run in offline mode.
  • You will automate the infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
  • You will monitor the systems, resolve incidents, and continuously improve observability.
  • If you wish, you can support field service in collecting sensor data on-site in Berlin or other locations in Europe and validate the technology in field trials.

Your Profile

  • EU citizenship: Due to security regulations for this role, you must be a citizen of an EU member state.
  • Residence in Germany: You are registered in a German city and have a German tax number.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the IT sector (e.g., Engineering).
  • At least 2 years of full-time professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or MLOps Engineer.
  • Sound knowledge of the Embedded Linux ecosystem.
  • Experienced in writing Bash scripts.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
  • Expert knowledge in CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Initial practical experience in the field of sensors or other hardware.
  • Good German and fluent English skills; any additional language is a plus.
  • You enjoy working in the defense sector.
  • You thrive in a dynamic startup or scaleup environment.
  • You are motivated to work completely hands-on and dive deep into the systems.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with the GNU toolchain and the Yocto Project.
  • Cloud experience.
  • Experience with Golang.
  • Experience with C/C++.
  • Willingness to travel for 2-3 days per quarter for field tests.
  • An active GitHub profile that you are happy to share with us.
