Linux Systems Engineer

Description of the offer

We are looking for an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to large-scale projects.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to deploy, manage, and optimize Linux systems, while driving technical evolution and providing solutions to complex challenges.

You will collaborate on various initiatives, with a particular focus on system security, operational maintenance, and infrastructure management.

Main activities

• Deploy and manage Linux systems manually, with the help of scripts and automation tools.
• Install and update Linux servers (Redhat/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu/Suse...).
• Harden isolated systems or systems on networks.
• Deploy and manage a Linux environment based on Active Directory.
• Install and configure infrastructure solutions (virtualization, monitoring, backup).
• Contribute to support and incident resolution (level 2 and 3).
• Contribute to Operational Maintenance (MCO) and Security Maintenance (MCS).

Desired profile

• You have at least 4 years of experience with Linux.
• You can adapt to different projects.
• You have a good level of English.
• You are interested in cybersecurity aspects.
• You are curious and always seek solutions.

Skills

• You have solid knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• You are comfortable with monitoring tools (Centreon, Nagios), virtualization tools (VMware, Proxmox), scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python), and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• You have operational knowledge of backup techniques and strategies.
