Role Overview

Join the UNIX Engineering team to design, build, and maintain large-scale Linux infrastructure and virtualization platforms. You will work on configuration management, automation, and backend systems supporting a globally distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance a global VMware-based virtualization platform
• Develop backend tools and provisioning systems (APIs/CLI)
• Automate configuration and system management using Ansible
• Ensure platform scalability, stability, and performance
• Collaborate with global teams on system design and improvements

Required Skills

• Strong UNIX/Linux fundamentals
• Python development experience (backend systems, frameworks)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins)
• Troubleshooting across OS, network, and infrastructure

Good to Have

• Experience with VMware / large-scale infrastructure
• Exposure to enterprise/global environments
• Knowledge of additional languages (Erlang, Prolog)
