Principal tasks and responsibilities include

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure solutions across distributed Linux-based environments
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to support system deployment, configuration, and ongoing management
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization and tuning strategies
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of infrastructure through proactive support and maintenance
• Provide L2/L3 support, including incident resolution and participation in on-call rotations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Qualifications and pre-requisites

• 5-7 years of experience in systems administration within Linux-based environments
• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat or similar distributions)
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible or similar)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Nagios, or equivalent)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) considered an asset
