About the role

Position Summary

The Loan Analyst - Syndications is responsible for tasks related to the day-to-day servicing operations of the syndicated loan portfolio, including monitoring loan activities, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, and assisting with portfolio reconciliation and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day accounting activities related to syndicated loan transactions and serves as primary contact for loan inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinates loan closings and funding activities including the distribution of funds, interest payments and covenant compliance deadlines.
  • Analyzes and monitor loan activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with credit agreements, resolves discrepancies in loan data, and reports fundings and recommendations to management for resolution and improvements.
  • Supports preparation of accurate financial reports for the syndicated loan portfolio,
  • Compile loan data to support internal and external audits, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
