Logistics Engineer

Become the logistics engineering expert at Vista, driving optimal material flow and operational efficiency. This role requires a systems-level thinker to ensure production demands are met seamlessly.

As a Logistics Engineer at Vista, you will connect Production, Logistics, and Procurement/Supply Chain, focusing on improving existing and new process flows. Your expertise in cycle time analysis and warehouse strategies will be crucial for identifying bottlenecks and enhancing throughput. You will facilitate alignment across functions, ensuring governance and continuous improvement in material flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer and optimize inbound, storage, and delivery processes
• Conduct analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve system performance
• Develop and implement storage and warehouse strategies
• Act as a connector between key departments for process alignment
• Identify and execute initiatives for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• BASc in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• 3-5 years in high volume manufacturing logistics
• Proven experience with JIT, ERP systems and analytical skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with SAP and AutoCAD
