Logistics Manager - Automotive

Requirements

• Matric
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management or related qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ shipping and logistics management experience within the automotive industry
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Strong understanding of import/export procedures and freight operations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and computer literacy
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vehicle order placement, supply control, and pipeline management
• Coordinate imports and exports, including sea and airfreight shipments
• Liaise with freight agents, customs, carriers, inspection companies, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee cross-border export processes and related documentation
• Manage vehicle allocations, distribution, and third-party logistics providers
• Monitor logistics performance, damages, claims, and stock control processes
• Support the sales team with logistics planning and delivery coordination
• Lead and oversee logistics support staff and service providers
• Ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to operational deadlines
