Negligible Clearance

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance. Requirements • Unites States citizenship • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline • 4-7 years of software development experience • Experience in Python, JavaScript/Type Script, C/C++, Shell/Bash, and JSON/YML • Experience in Docker and Git • Experience with agile software development practices • Ability to be a motivated, self-starter • Ability and desire to quickly learn new skills or grow knowledge areas Responsibilities • Develop software tools for use in data management • Develop software tools for machine learning, artificial intelligence, and autonomous weapons systems testing • Develop firmware for sensor data collection and accompanying drivers for data collection • Develop unit tests for new software developed by developer Preferred Skills and Experience • Experience in Java/C#, HTML/CSS, Make, TOML/XML • Ability to mentor junior software developers. A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required. Compensation

Compensation at Sim Ventions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $79,000 - $130,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that Sim Ventions offers. Benefits
