About the role

As an M&A Project Manager, you will be within the business team, closely working with the M&A department to lead the acquisition and integration of brownfield and greenfield biogas/biomethane projects across Europe into the Axpo Group. You will manage due diligence processes, vendor relationships, and internal coordination for project success and support the Senior Investment Manager for business modeling and valuations.

What you will do

• Lead project development for biogas/biomethane acquisitions, managing vendor relations and due diligence
• Oversee integration of acquired projects, coordinating corporate functions
• Draft and finalize contracts such as SPA and EPC agreements
• Support the creation and financing of SPVs
• Assist the Senior Investment Manager in business model development and internal approvals

What you bring & who you are

• Master’s degree in a technical or financial discipline
• Experience in project management and M&A transactions
• Strong leadership, communication, and process management skills
• Ability to manage diverse, multinational teams and complex projects
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
