Ceragon is seeking an experienced Senior M&A Professional to join our Strategy and Corporate Development team. This role will play a central part in shaping the company’s growth strategy through both inorganic expansion and strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead the end‑to‑end execution of M&A processes, including market mapping, target sourcing, relationship development with potential acquisition targets, deal evaluation, and transaction execution through signing and closing.
This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, financial rigor, and process leadership, with the ability to manage complex transactions across multiple stakeholders. The individual will work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams including finance, legal, product, and business units to ensure that transactions align with the company’s long‑term strategy and create sustainable value.
A deep understanding of market dynamics, financial modeling, business analysis, and disciplined deal execution is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end M&A process, from strategic target identification through deal execution and closing.
- Develop and manage an M&A target pipeline, including proactive sourcing and direct engagement with potential acquisition targets and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct in‑depth strategic, financial, and operational analysis of potential transactions, including financial modeling and valuation using multiple methodologies.
- Prepare investment memoranda, strategic analyses, and executive presentations for senior leadership and decision‑making forums.
- Lead and coordinate cross‑functional due diligence processes, ensuring comprehensive assessment of financial, operational, legal, and strategic considerations.
- Work closely with legal, finance, and business teams to structure and negotiate transactions that align with corporate strategy and risk appetite.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities.
- Support post‑merger integration planning and execution, ensuring realization of transaction value and strategic objectives.
- Contribute to broader corporate development and strategic initiatives, including market entry analysis, partnership evaluation, and long‑term growth opportunities.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital.
- Proven experience leading complex transactions from sourcing through execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and strategic analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, very fluent in English, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with strategic thinking and commercial judgment.
Experience in the telecom or technology sectors – an advantage.
