Are you an experienced CNC Vertical Turning Machinist looking for an exciting new challenge? We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, seeking a seasoned professional to join our team for the 2nd shift. This is a permanent role where you will be working with some of the most advanced machinery in the industry, including DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki. Responsibilities

As a CNC Vertical Turning Machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining CNC Vertical Turning machines, specifically DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings to accurately manufacture parts.
• Applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
• Using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to inspect and verify the dimensions of parts.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the machinery and the manufacturing process.
• Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Complying with all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Continually improving processes and techniques for efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Vertical Turning Machinist in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining DMG and Dmg Mori Seiki machines.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
• Expertise in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• A commitment to safety, with knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
