Magento (Adobe Commerce) Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Magento (Adobe Commerce) Full Stack Developer with 8+ years of experience in both backend and frontend development. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable eCommerce solutions, customizing Magento platforms, and ensuring high performance and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and extensions
• Work on Adobe Commerce (Magento) platform for enterprise solutions
• Integrate third‑party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
• Optimize performance, indexing, caching (Redis/Varnish), and database queries
• Ensure code quality, security, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues

Frontend Development

• Develop responsive UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Customize Magento themes (Luma/Hyvä) and UI components
• Work with KnockoutJS and Magento UI components
• Improve page speed and overall user experience
• Ensure cross‑browser and mobile compatibility

Integration and Architecture

• Integrate Magento with ERP, CRM, OMS, and third‑party systems
• Implement API‑based and headless commerce solutions (PWA Studio)
• Manage multi‑store, multi‑currency, and multi‑region implementations

DevOps and Performance

• Work with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Magento Cloud, Azure)
• Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability

Collaboration

• Work closely with designers, QA, product managers, and stakeholders
• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, OOP, and MVC architecture
• Deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture (modules, DI, plugins, events)
• Experience with REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs
• Strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Experience with Magento UI components and KnockoutJS
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms, indexing, and performance optimization
• Hands‑on experience with Git and deployment processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hyvä theme or PWA Studio (headless commerce)
• Adobe Commerce certification
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SEO and performance optimization (Core Web Vitals)
