Magento Automation QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Magento Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of our B2B marketplace built on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce Cloud). The role focuses on building and maintaining automation frameworks, validating complex workflows (catalog, checkout, order lifecycle), and ensuring seamless releases, including marketplace‑based integrations and flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for Magento 2 applications
• Build and execute test scripts for frontend and backend workflows (PDP, cart, checkout, order management)
• Validate marketplace workflows (seller onboarding, product sync, order lifecycle, commission flows)
• Perform API testing for Magento REST APIs and third‑party integrations
• Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and defect resolution
• Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing before releases
• Work on CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution
• Identify performance bottlenecks and ensure application stability at scale
• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and reports

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce testing
• Hands‑on with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python (any one for automation)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Understanding of Magento architecture (modules, checkout flow, APIs)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of database testing (MySQL)
• Strong understanding of STLC and test design techniques

Good to Have

• Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud (ACC) environments & deployments
• Exposure to marketplace platforms or multi‑vendor architectures
• Performance testing experience (JMeter, k6, etc.)
• Knowledge of Docker / cloud environments
• Familiarity with Knockout.js‑based Magento frontend flows
