Maintenance Officer - Qualified Millwright or Qualified Fitter

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preventative maintenance tasks are completed as per the pm schedule.
• Manage the repair of any breakdowns or m/c failures.
• Improve current equipment robustness and design were possible.
• Keep pm downtime to a minimum by coordinating with production.
• Logging all breakdowns and reviewing history for pm improvements.
• Manage critical spares selection and availability.
• Provide budget input for all maintenance costs and improvement projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics
• NTC 3 with applicable Trade Qualification
• 5 Years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Qualification in Millwright /Fitter or equivalent
• Heights permit, Rigging, Hydraulic & Pneumatic will be added as an advantage
