Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

A leading plastic thermal processing manufacturer in Cleveland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift team. This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of thermal processing machinery and support equipment to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on thermal processing and plastic manufacturing machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using PLC systems (troubleshooting, no programming required).
• Assist with machine setup and support production as needed.
• Welding/fabricating is a plus.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and communicate with production staff and leadership.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with PLCs for troubleshooting.
• Experience with plastic processing equipment is a huge plus.
• Welding/fabricating is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
