Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Management Accountant to join the European Reporting Finance team. This role plays a key part in producing accurate and timely management accounts for JD France while supporting efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly management accounts for France legal entity in line with local GAAP.
• Manage P&L reporting and provide insights on cost lines to business teams.
• Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating these to the Finance Manager.
• Identify and implement automation or streamline opportunities within our current processes to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues that delay month‑end close processes.
• Support the timely and effective completion of the group audit, working confidently with Deloitte.
• Partner with commercial finance teams to deliver actionable insights that will support strategic decision‑making.
• Support the transformations team in projects that will be rolled out within the business.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Fully or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Experience in a similar role within a fast‑paced, multi‑site retail or commercial environment
