About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will manage daily bookkeeping and play a key role in the company’s monthly and annual financial closings. More importantly, you will contribute to the creation of the future SightCall Financial organization. As for all the positions in SightCall, our Management Accountant should be hyper-organized and as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. The role will report to the Group Controller and work closely with the FP&A team. The successful candidate will have an appetite for improving processes and delivering accurate, timely and high-quality information.

Please note that this position is a fixed-term contract offered as maternity leave cover for the employee currently holding the role. The role follows a hybrid work model, with three days per week based in our Paris office (2nd arrondissement).

Responsibilities

• Take charge of overall accounting processes: you will perform the day-to-day bookkeeping operations including AP/AR, fixed-assets, payroll booking, bank reconciliation, month-end journal entries.
• Complete responsibilities of the month-end closing process which will include accounting reconciliation and review of management accounts.
• Manage revenue cycle including coordination with sales operations, ensure on-time invoicing, debt collection process and dealing with customer queries.
• Ensure proper Tax and Statutory filing with the support of external advisers.
• Handle communication with our external accountant and with external institutions (Tax advisors, Auditors,…).
• Improve financial processes: you will take an active role in the automation of our accounting and reporting processes.
• Assist our Group Controller and FP&A Department with ad hoc financial communications, financial due diligence or other financial reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: You have 3/4 + years of work experience in audit, accounting firms or corporate accounting. Preferably, you have experience in a start-up or in any Tech company based on SaaS model.
• Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or an equivalent field (DCG Degree), knowledge of French/US GAAP is a plus.
• Languages: Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and with strong written and spoken French.

• Strong Excel required. Advanced Excel skills managing large data sets strongly preferred. Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus.
