Role Overview

Inviting applications for the role of Manager, AI Developer (LLM & Intelligent Systems Engineering)!

In this role, we are seeking an experienced AI Developer to design and build intelligent, AI-powered systems leveraging large language models (LLMs), semantic search, and modern orchestration frameworks.

This role focuses on building scalable AI applications that integrate structured and unstructured data, implement advanced prompt and context engineering strategies, and enable semantic, lexical, and graph-based search capabilities in a cloud-native environment.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on LLM application development expertise with strong Python engineering and data integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

AI Application Development & Orchestration

• Design and develop LLM-powered applications using frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph
• Build intelligent orchestration workflows integrating AI services with enterprise systems
• Develop modular AI agents using reasoning frameworks (e.g., React, Chain-of-Thought)
• Integrate AI workflows with cloud-based orchestration tools
• Implement scalable and maintainable AI pipelines

Prompt & Context Engineering

• Design advanced prompts for reasoning, retrieval, summarization, and decision workflows
• Implement memory strategies (short-term and long-term memory management)
• Optimize context window management for performance and accuracy
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
• Continuously evaluate and refine prompt effectiveness

Semantic, Lexical & Graph-Based Search

• Implement semantic search using embeddings and vector stores
• Enable lexical and hybrid search strategies
• Integrate graph databases for relationship-based querying and reasoning
• Design indexing strategies for unstructured content (PDFs, images, documents)
• Build intelligent knowledge retrieval systems

Data Engineering & Integration

• Develop pipelines to ingest and transform structured and unstructured data
• Work with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, NoSQL databases, GraphDBs)
• Enable data transformation into optimized formats (columnar, vectorized, graph-based)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and traceability within AI workflows
• Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable architecture design

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Build AI solutions within cloud ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Integrate AI services with enterprise databases and APIs
• Implement secure, scalable, and observable AI systems
• Ensure performance optimization and cost-efficient architecture

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong programming expertise in Python
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
• Experience with prompt engineering and reasoning frameworks (ReAct, Chain-of-Thought)
• Experience implementing RAG architectures
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models
• Experience working with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j or similar)
• Strong understanding of search architectures (semantic lexical)
• Experience integrating AI systems with modern data platforms

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Camunda or similar)
• Knowledge of multimodal AI (text, documents, images, formula parsing)
• Experience building production-grade AI systems in regulated or enterprise environments

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset with systems thinking
• Ability to translate business use cases into AI-driven solutions
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills
• Comfortable working in cross-functional, agile teams
