This role serves as a vital partner for various commercial business areas and IT teams, focusing on assessing business needs, identifying potential solutions, and implementing data and analytics strategies within the organization. The role involves collaborating with commercial teams, IT professionals, and external partners to develop technology roadmaps, explore new technologies, and establish data management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving solution components independently and translating requirements into actionable plans.
• Providing guidance to junior engineers in delivering data and analytics solutions.
• Ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery on commitments through the application of technical skills and best practices.
• Evaluating and implementing new data management platforms and advanced analytics, including AI and ML technologies.

The Engineer II role is pivotal for the delivery and success of assigned projects. Responsibilities involve:

• Working with engineers, architects, and leads to transform business requirements into technical solutions.
• Driving the design and implementation of solution components, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Participating in code reviews and configuration management practices.
• Maintaining system availability through proactive problem-solving and performance monitoring.

About You

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to communicate complex topics effectively. A commitment to continuous improvement and an understanding of commercial pharma data and analytics technology, including a strong command of the Snowflake platform and SQL, are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT Engineering; pharmaceutical industry expertise is preferred.
• Deep understanding of cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, along with DevOps and monitoring tools.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $121,103.00 to $181,125.00, alongside benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
