About the Role
Adapt Media is hiring a Manager, Digital Ad Operations to lead our digital ad ops team and own the execution of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising campaigns end-to-end. This role owns programmatic strategy, campaign performance, and technology stack decisions. You will serve as the digital subject matter expert (SME) across the organization, working with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to drive client outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage the Digital Ad Ops team. Set performance objectives, conduct reviews, mentor team members, and build a team culture focused on accountability, learning, and strong execution.
- Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle. Oversee all digital OOH campaigns from setup and trafficking through optimization, delivery, and final reporting.
- Serve as the organization's digital SME. Act as the internal expert on digital advertising technology, advising cross-functional stakeholders on capabilities, trends, and recommended approaches.
- Manage programmatic operations. Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for programmatic campaign execution, oversee demand-side platform (DSP) and supply-side platform (SSP) relationships, and drive performance through data-driven optimization.
- Enable the Sales team. Educate and equip Sales on programmatic, private marketplace (PMP), and mobile retargeting offerings through presentations, regular office hours, and proposal support.
- Drive location and mobile retargeting strategy. Help clients leverage mobile location data and retargeting campaigns for more effective and personalized DOOH execution.
- Manage financial reconciliation. Oversee revenue share payments, SSP reconciliation, and partner financial reporting with accuracy and transparency.
- Evaluate and evolve the technology stack. Continuously assess ad tech platforms against business needs and industry developments, recommending enhancements and supporting integrations.
- Build and maintain partner and client relationships. Manage relationships with network partners, DSPs, SSPs, and key clients, acting as the primary liaison on campaign delivery and strategic alignment.
- Analyze performance data and report on results. Monitor campaign metrics, surface actionable insights, and present findings to clients, partners, and senior stakeholders to inform ongoing optimization decisions.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of digital ad operations or programmatic advertising experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity
- Strong working knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, and the programmatic ecosystem
- Experience managing PMP deals and direct programmatic campaigns
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for sales and client audiences
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with data analysis and drawing performance insights from large datasets
- Hands-on experience with location data platforms and mobile location intelligence, including audience segmentation and movement-based targeting
- Experience planning and executing mobile retargeting campaigns, including audience matching, pixel implementation, and performance measurement
- Familiarity with the DOOH or out-of-home advertising landscape
Role Details
- Location: Fully remote
- Reports to: Chief Technology Officer
- Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 CAD
- Employment type: Full-time, permanent
