What the Role Delivers

This role drives reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations through strong leadership of the maintenance and engineering functions. You’ll lead a hands‑on, solutions‑focused team that keeps critical equipment running and continuously improves plant performance. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will influence capital investments, strengthen reliability, and elevate maintenance excellence every day.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop an engineering and maintenance team, including union employees, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support and lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis on plant equipment.
  • Manage capital projects, including scope development, budgeting, contractor oversight, and compliance with site standards.
  • Plan and execute the annual maintenance turnaround and major plant outages.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage maintenance and capital budgets and track performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives supporting reliability, quality, and operational efficiency.

Salary range $115,1000 – 172,700 per year. The posted salary range reflects the national average for this role. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus in addition to base salary.

What We Are Seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or plant operations.
  • Experience leading and developing teams; union supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong technical background with plant equipment, reliability practices, and maintenance systems (SAP or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a hands‑on, fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
