Responsibilities
- You ensure the implementation of all legal requirements, official regulations, and internal HSE regulations and are responsible for monthly HSE reporting to the group.
- You continuously develop, optimize, and implement strategies, systems, processes, and training measures in the HSE area.
- You will be responsible for waste, emergency, and hazardous materials management, as well as the organization of occupational and environmental protection-related inspections, measurements, first aid, and fire protection.
- Your tasks include carrying out and documenting risk assessments in accordance with ArbSchG, GefStoffV, and the Machinery Directive, as well as regular workplace inspections with the derivation of suitable measures.
- As the central point of contact, you will advise the employer and management on all matters of occupational health and safety, accident prevention, work equipment, work procedures, personal protective equipment, and ergonomic workplace design.
- You organize and conduct training sessions, courses, and HSE audits, create operating and work instructions, and analyze work accidents with the derivation of preventive measures in close cooperation with external institutions and the company doctor.
Qualifications
- You have completed a master craftsman or technician training or a degree in a technical field.
- You have a qualification as a safety engineer or specialist for occupational safety.
- Several years of professional experience in the HSE environment of the manufacturing industry, as well as sound knowledge of labor and environmental law, characterize you.
- Ideally, you also have training as an environmental officer for waste and/or as a fire safety officer.
- A systematic, structured, and goal-oriented way of working, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills, and resilience are among your strengths.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
