Manager of Project Management

Clark’s Lumber & Millwork Inc., an INC 5000 Fastest Growing Company, is experiencing rapid growth and expanding our commercial millwork manufacturing operations. We are seeking a Manager of Project Management to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA. Candidates should have prior experience working in commercial millwork, architectural woodworking, or a closely related construction/manufacturing environment. This role is not intended as a training position for learning how a millwork operation functions.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead and manage our existing team of Project Managers, support scheduling and coordination with production, and maintain strong project execution standards from day one.

About the Role

The Manager of Project Management leads and supports a team of Project Managers while ensuring projects are executed successfully from planning through delivery. This role oversees scheduling, cross‑functional coordination, client communication, and project performance to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of Project Managers.
• Oversee project schedules and ensure alignment with operational and production capacity.
• Coordinate across departments including Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Field teams.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and timelines across multiple projects.
• Support budget monitoring and ensure proper change management processes.
• Provide leadership updates on project health, risks, and schedule impacts.
• Resolve project execution issues and support client communication when needed.
• Drive consistency in project management processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, in millwork manufacturing and construction.
• 2+ years of leadership or team supervision experience.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with ERP (Innergy) or project management software preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
